- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread the strawberry jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the jam.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces using a sharp knife or dental floss. Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
Chef's Tips:
• For a richer flavor, use full-fat milk and real butter
• Avoid overbaking to prevent dry rolls; check at 25 minutes
• Serve warm with a cup of coffee or tea for the perfect breakfast treat
Food Safety:
• Ensure milk is warmed to 110°F to activate yeast without killing it
• Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
