Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Baking sheets
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie scoop or spoon

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
