Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken Preferably lean
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Divided into 1/2 cup portions
  • 1 egg Beaten
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce Or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup additional toppings Such as bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella, the beaten egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a thin, even crust about 1/4 inch thick. Trust me, a uniform thickness ensures even cooking.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crust is cooked through.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and add your desired toppings. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Now comes the fun part—step back and admire your creation before slicing and serving.
